United Methodist Women NEWS....
For those of you who have not attended a UMW meeting before, this information may be helpful. We meet at 1:00pm in the Sund Room the third Tuesday of the month. We have coffee, tea and light refreshments.
Following this we have a program, usually presented by one or two of our members. We have a business meeting (which we try to keep short) and we close with a circle as we pray for the concerns of our church, family and the world. We invite all women of the church to attend. The UMW is a very strong part of the UMC.
Our purpose is to know God and to be in mission around the world. We will be looking forward to seeing you there.

At our
November 20
meeting, we will be celebrating the gifts God has given us this year.
Everyone is invited to bring an offering that will be collected as part
of our World Thank Offering. Many women keep a special container that
they and their families use in their daily lives. The funds collected in
the World Thank Offering are used in the total mission carried on
through the Women's Division of the United Methodist Church-Mission in
the United States and around the world.
Giving Party!
All women of the church are invited to Bonnie Taylor's home on Saturday, December 1 at 12:30 PM for our Christmas Giving Party.
Bring cookies which we will share and package the rest for our shut in's, a gift for Western State, and offering for Deaconess Children's Services. Secret Pas will be revealed, Circle Singers will share music with us and there will be a Christmas Story. A great way to start the Advent Season!
