We want you to join the Choir.

Chancel Choir

The Chancel Choir leads worship at 11:00 AM most Sundays with traditional hymns, spirituals, and contemporary music. The choir rehearses most Wednesday evenings at 6:30 PM during the school year. This group is open to all adults and older youth with rehearsal experience.

Our director, Jeff Bell, is also a music director for professional musicals in the Tacoma and Olympia areas. If you are interested in joining, please contact Jeff or the office for the most up-to-date rehearsal schedule.

Worship Band

Our praise band leads worship at 9:00am every Sunday morning.
Rehearsals are on Thursday evenings and prior to Worship on Sundays.

We aim to combine newer Christian music- both popular and rarely heard- along with traditional hymns given a new twist.

Contact our church office if you would like more information on our worship band. We are looking for a drummer.

Bell Choirs

Our GHUMC Bell Choir meets quarterly to prepare a few songs for worship. This group is open to people who can read music and count enough to be able to stay on a part. It's a great group to test out your skills, meet some fun people, and have a chance to make music. The group plans a week where they rehearse 3 times, and then aim to perform that Sunday. Contact Director Sharon Stearnes to get on the email list.

Friday Bells is a group meant for musicians with extensive prior musical backgrounds which enable them to rehearse together once and perform. This group has people from ages 34-90 and struggles a bit to find a time to practice. They usually come together twice a year on a Friday to rehearse and then perform, sometimes even that same day.
